We have been advised by Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost), Philippines, that weather conditions have improved and all postal operations, including mail processing and delivery, have therefore resumed as normal with effect from 23 September 2025.

We have been advised by Hongkong Post, a designated operator of China (specifically for the special administrative region of Hong Kong), that the Hong Kong Observatory issued Storm Signal No. 8 on 23 September 2025. The processing and conveyance of all mail will be disrupted. Quality of service for all services (letters, parcels and EMS) will therefore be affected. The impact is expected to last for at least a day upon service resumption while the backlogs are cleared.

All inbound and outbound mail services will be affected during this period. PHLPost is monitoring the situation closely and will resume normal operations as soon as conditions permit.
Egypt
Egypt – Disruption to mail services

We have been advised by Egypt Post, that it is currently experiencing a technical issue that is affecting the receipt, processing and dispatch of mail. As a result of this disruption, Egypt Post is unable to operate certain systems as normal.
Egypt Post’s technical teams are actively working to resolve the issue, and it is anticipated that normal operations will resume by the morning of, 19 September 2025.
Nepal
Nepal – Gradual resumption of services

We have been advised by, the Department of Postal Services (Nepal Post), Nepal, that they are gradually resuming postal operations.
Although normal conditions have not yet been fully restored, services are now being provided from Kathmandu and other post offices across the country with limited resources, using temporarily established facilities as the current situation demands.
Nepal Post will provide further updates, as services return to full capacity.

Nepal – Suspension of postal services following protests

We have been advised by, the Department of Postal Services (Nepal Post), Nepal, that nationwide protests held on 7 and 8 September 2025 have resulted in severe damage to infrastructure across the country. Many government entities, including Nepal Post, have been affected.
Nepal Post’s office of exchange building in Dillibazar, Kathmandu, has sustained significant damage and all of its official vehicles have been destroyed. Several post offices across the country have burned down.
Given this unprecedented situation, Nepal Post is unable to maintain its regular postal operations. Therefore, it is suspending its postal services until it can identify and implement alternative solutions to restore operations.
